How I Acquired the Tech Website MobilesTalk.Net

This is how I acquired a Tech website.

In my last post, I shared how I made a decent amount money answering quizzes. At the end I wrote I invested the money in acquiring a site. In today’s post, I will share how it happened.

In 2019, a guy named Sudip commented on TechYorker to get a backlink. I replied to him and started having a conversation. Later we exchanged numbers and moved the conversation to WApp.

When we got in touch he was working at a site called GadgetsIntro. Later, he sold it and started a new site MobilesIntro and later sold it too. Then he started MobileRDX and again sold it. Basically, Sudip used to build websites and flip them.

After he sold MobileRDX, he purchased a new domain MobilesTalk.Net in March 2020. I suggested him to start doing SoC comparisons on his site as I was getting success there. He tried it and started getting visitors.

As Sudip was writing content for his website one day I asked him to contribute a few articles for me. When I asked Sudip told me that bro I am not able to work well on even my websites. I curiously asked why?

I was assuming the workload but he told me He has severe Diabetes since he was just 10 years old and his health has gotten worsen in the last few months.

Due to Diabetes, he is facing several other issues like vision loss, kidney failure, and infection in lungs. I was very upset knowing all this and felt very bad for him.

In May 2021, Sudip send me a voice note saying he is looking to sell MobilesTalk.Net urgently. He told me, bro, I have completely lost my vision, I can’t see anything. Maybe I will not able to see ever in my life, who will take care of my website.

He told me he wants me to buy the website. I said to him, okay I will take care of it. Very same day he took help of his younger brother to gave access of everything to me.

After a week, He told he had no money left for his treatment. I helped him in best of my capacity. Later, I also ran a Ketto campaign for him and tried arranging funds.

Despite all the treatment, Sudip's condition was not improving. I always stayed in touch with him.

In October 2021, I sent him a message asking how is he. I didn’t receive any reply for a week. I got very worried.

After a few days, I received a message from his number. I immediately asked about his health. But the other person was his younger brother. He told Sudip is no more with us. A few days back he fell consciousness. We rushed him to the hospital but he left us.

Although I never met him physically, we were very good friends. I was very upset for next so many months. I am still in touch with his brother and help him in every possible way I can.

Sudip left us but we still have his project MobilesTalk.Net. I run it as a memory of him and will continue working on it. Since I started working on the site it has grown to over 100k visits per month.
