How Easy It Is to Install WordPress on Any Web Hosting

· 3 min read

This is how easy it is to install WordPress on any web hosting.

In my yesterday's post, I wrote about how you can connect your domain name to web hosting. When your domain name and web hosting is successfully connected, the next step is to install WordPress on it.

Many beginners think installing WordPress involves a lot of technicalities. Without even trying it themselves, they started thinking about hiring someone to install WordPress and set it up for them. But from my understanding, it doesn't make much sense.

WordPress is famous for building websites without any technical knowledge. If one gives a few hours to understand it, then it is a child's play to install WordPress and complete the initial setup. And to make things easier for you guys, in today's post, I will write about how you can install WordPress on your hosting.

As I have written in my post about selecting a Blogging platform, WordPress.Org is a free and open-source platform. You don't need to pay anything to install it on your hosting.

Coming to the main topic how you can install WordPress on your hosting, the most popular web hosting platforms offer a one-click installation. Some of the popular web hosts we have are GoDaddy, Hostinger, Bluehost, Dreamhost, etc. If you have purchased web hosting for any of these shared hosting platforms, you can find the option to install WordPress directly. I have personally tried all of them, and the process of installing WordPress was fairly easy. While installing WordPress, you will get the option to create your login credentials. So, when the installation is done, you can use those credentials to login into your WordPress admin dashboard.

On some hosting platforms, you don't even need to install WordPress manually. They do it automatically for you when you sign up for them. Like in the case of Cloudways, when you will create a new server on their dashboard, they will ask you to select the web app you want to use on your server. If you select WordPress, they install a fresh installation of WordPress on your server. So, you don't even need to take any hassle of WordPress installation. They do it on a temporary subdomain, and right after the installation, you can add your domain and continue from there.

Recently, I was talking to someone on LinkedIn. That person was doing content writing for a few years. A few months back, they decided to start a Tech Blog of their own. For that, they hired to do all these simple stuff and paid over 12000 INR. For me, it didn't make any sense at all.

So, my primary purpose behind writing this post was to convey the message that you can easily install WordPress yourself, and it is pretty straightforward. You don't need to hire anyone to do this simple stuff. If you get stuck at any step, you can always reach out to me, and I will do my best to help.

That's all in this post.

Thanks for reading. Have a great day!
