How I Got Into Blogging

If you are curious to know how I got into Blogging. Let me share the story with all of you.

In the yesterday's post I shared my journey of creating my Tech YouTube channel and uploading the first video on 29 September 2017. Within a week of starting my YouTube channel I also started my Blogging journey.

When I was doing research for starting my YouTube channel. There were a few channels MySmartSupport, YTAdvice, AaiyeSikhteHai uploading videos about starting a YouTube channel.

On those channels I found some videos about Blogging. Before that I was aware of websites as I used to download music and movies from websites like wapking, bestwp, etc. I always had a desire of creating my own website but I didn't exactly have the idea of how can I create one.

When I came to know about Blogging and it basically meant starting a website. I was very happy that my long time dream of owning a website can be fulfilled.

This was the time I also registered my first domain name TechnicalRatnesh.Com. It was exactly the same name as my YouTube channel. It costed me a mere 125 Rupees as some promotions offers were running on GoDaddy.

After purchasing the domain name the next required thing was web-hosting. As I had recently spent a lot of money in buying DSLR, MacBook and a premium smartphone for my YouTube channel. I didn’t have enough money to get the hosting. I waited for a few week and once I had some money then I also purchased the Deluxe Shared web hosting for 1 year from GoDaddy. It costed me some 4200 rupees for an year.

After it I learnt to connect a domain name with web hosting and also installing WordPress on it. It was a fairly easy process and took less than 10 minutes. The WordPress installation come with a default free theme and my site went live. When it does my joy had no bounds. Finally, after 5 years of using Internet and visiting other’s websites I had my own website. I shared my website with everyone in my friend circle.

After it the next requirement was a nice WordPress theme. I used to visit some websites and they were using a very beautiful theme. I didn’t exactly know the name of the theme so I used Google to check how can I find the name of a theme some other website is using. That theme was Newspaper priced at $59. In the Black Friday sale I purchased the theme at a discounted rate of $29 from Themeforest.

So, now everything was set I had a Tech YouTube channel and a Tech Blog.
