Selling Your Skills: The First Way to Make Money Online

In yesterday’s post, I explained all the legitimate ways to make money on the Internet.

In my post, I have explained there are two positions for making money over the Internet 1. Individual, and 2. Business.

And then, I went on to explain different ways to make money as an individual and a business.

From now on, I will explain each of the ways I mentioned in a detailed manner.

Most of us start our careers as an individual, and at some later point, some of us eventually start a business. That’s why I will start with Individuals.

In my post, I wrote there are a couple of ways of making money on the Internet as an individual 1. Selling Your Skills 2. Individual Content Creation.

Again in these two, we will discuss Individual Content Creation in upcoming posts. For now, let’s stick with the first one selling your skills.

Most of us make money by selling our skills, whether as full-time employees or as a freelancer.

So, if you are right at the beginning of your career, this is the path you should take to make money. It will not just give you an instant income, but most importantly, you will learn valuable skills that are a must-have if you want to grow further in your career and practice the remaining ways of making money online.

The problem with the vast majority of youth is they lack professional monetizable skills, which is why unemployment is a massive issue in our country.

But the best part is, If you think you have no skills at the moment, there is nothing to regret about. It’s not the end of the world. You are still young, and if you are willing to learn, you can learn any skill you want in no time. We are living in information age. Every piece of information is just a few taps away from our fingertips.

If you have a phone/computer and a working Internet connection. You can learn any skill you want. What’s more, you don’t even have to pay anything for it. You have free resources like YouTube, where you can find tons of free content.

One channel I highly recommend for learning on the Internet is Satish Kushwaha.

If you ask me when I started in 2017, I didn’t have any skills at all. However, I used YouTube to learn every single thing that I know today. I haven’t even taken a course from anyone. So, I am a living example that learning skills on the Internet are possible for free.

Once you have the skills, you are all set to start selling your skills and get into the first level of making money as an individual.

If you are still confused about which skill to choose, as there are so many to choose from. Don’t worry, in tomorrow’s post, I will provide a method that I advise everyone in my circle to identify a skill.
