Using Google Auto Suggestion to Find Untapped Topics

· 4 min read

This is how you can use Google Auto Suggestion to find untapped topics for your new blog.

In my yesterday's post, I talked about how you can find untapped evergreen topics for your blog. I mentioned that instead of using expensive SEO tools, I use Google Auto-suggestion to find untapped topics. I shed light on how I do it, but what I understand most of you will be interested to know about it in a more detailed manner. That's why in this post, I will explain how exactly you can use Google Auto-suggestion to find uncovered topics for your new blog. Let's start.

First, open any browser on your system. As you may have existing search history that can manipulate the auto-suggestions based on those past searches, consider clearing your browsing history. If you don't want to clear your browsing history, then either create a new profile within your browser or install a new browser.

Many of you would want to target the U.S.A and want to find keywords relevant to the U.S. market. For that, use a VPN and connect to a U.S. server. In this way, all the suggestions will be for the U.S. market.

When you are all set, go to Google.com and enter your primary keyword. Suppose you have a Tech blog around iPhone, then enter iPhone.

After it, give a blank space and enter a. You will see several suggestions, take note of all of them. When done, enter b, and the suggestions will change. Again take note of all the suggestions. Follow the same thing to the last alphabet, z. Now you will be looking at a set of 200+ highly searched topics around iPhone.

Now open a browser that you use generally and search every single keyword you have taken note of. Most probably, you will find a few topics that are either untapped or not covered by many. Separate those topics and publish high-quality content around them.

When you start running out of topics, follow the same method, and this time type iPhone a, and after it, enter another a. You will see the suggestions are changed completely. Note those keywords and change the second a with b. Take note of all the suggestions and keep doing it until you reach z.

When you are done with iPhone a, then enter iPhone b. After it again, enter a so it will look like iPhone ba. You will see the suggestions are different. Then enter iPhone bb, iPhone bc to iPhone bz. Follow the same for other alphabets iPhone ca, cb, cc, cz.

Keep doing it until you reach iPhone zz. You will have thousands of topics around iPhone. The best part about these keywords is they have search volume; that's why they appear as suggestions.

Not all of those will be free of competition. What you need to do is open your regular browser and search all those topics one by one. If you see a topic that has no competition, separate it from the big list. In the end, you will have a great set of untapped topics.

You can follow the same method in any niche, be it other Tech topics, sports, health, finance, or any other niche you have. This is how exactly I find topics for any new blog I start.

As you will be targeting untapped topics, there is no way you are not going to get successful. So, give it a try, and you will thank me later.

That's all I wanted to share in this post. I hope you learned something valuable from this post.

Thanks for reading. Have a great day!
